Sardo Creates Unique And Exciting Pieces Of Fine Jewellery.

Elena Sardo is the designer. Strongly passionate about architecture, art and fashion, after her Architecture degree, she worked for some years in fashion design, then Elena decided to turn her creativity into the jewellery design, field in which she has inherited many decades of experience of her family.
Therefore, the jewellery design has always been, for Elena, a part of her cultural background, refined through her passions and improved during her studies and her fashion design experiences.
Now, Elena expresses herself completely in the fine jewellery design through a really unconventional approach: “Only what comes from the heart and the mind can really excite and suggest feelings of passion and enthusiasm”, this is Elena's philosophy in creating jewels.
She believes that jewellery pieces must communicate emotions to those who wear them: each piece must tell a story and who chooses it becomes part of the story.
Her collections, in 18kt gold and precious stones, have been inspired by her passions. The Kant's philosophy inspired the collection “the starry sky above me”, then “beyond time” has been inspired by the timeless architecture of louis kahn and “a certain wrongness” is a more conceptual work, it is about embracing the imperfections in our life. The collection “about passion” is about passion seen as a driving force and the last one “through light and rebellious paths” comes from Italo Calvino's concept of lightness.
Each collection comes from an abstract concept or from a thought and every piece of jewellery symbolizes something.

The jewels, made with ethically sourced diamonds and precious stones (most of our suppliers are also members of the “Responsible Jewellery Council”), are created in the atelier of Turin (Italy), using traditional handcraft fine jewellery techniques along with the most modern techniques, in the name of the best Made in Italy.

With a refined design along with an accurate craftmanship, the brand has caught the attention of the press and it has been featured in many international magazines like Vogue.fr, Madame Figaro, Wallpaper*, Elle USA, Tatler, Harper's Bazaar UK, Elle Collections (UK),Vogue Gioiello, Vogue.it, Grazia (Italy).

The jewellery of Sardo are sold in the Turin atelier and in the Dover Street Market stores of London and Los Angeles.

We believe that jewellery has a value that goes beyond the mere material value of the object and that to this is added over time the irreplaceable value of the memories and affection to which that jewellery bore witness.

This is why we put all our care into all the repairs and modifications we do. In every work we do the aim is always to renew and enhance the jewellery to the maximum without ever distorting its history.

Every repair or modification is carried out in our workshop with the same technology and care that we use to make new jewellery.
